My friend, Brad, who was converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ a few years ago, shared his testimony in church one Sunday shortly after his baptism. His comments were filled with truth and with deep insight as he explained how he came to know the Church was true.

He said, “I have learned that there is no such thing as coincidence and that God’s hand is in everything.” He commented on the many simple evidences God had shown him and said he finally realized that the compilation of evidences and assurances could not be merely coincidence, but rather the hand of a loving God who was directing him to find and accept the truth.

It was a powerful insight from a new member of the Lord’s Church. I have learned many principles in my life, but one I have come to know of a certainty is, as Brad said, that there is no such thing as coincidence. God has a hand in every detail of the lives of every one of His children. God gives every one of His children a myriad of evidences so that they may believe in Him and come unto Him.
