Little Miracles

Many years ago, our family was going on a trip to Florida. My wife had somehow
misplaced her wedding ring and couldn’t find it that morning. We were to be flying out of town later that night for our trip. As the day wore on, amidst packing and getting ready, she grew more and more concerned as she scoured the house and couldn’t find the ring anywhere. She rotated between packing and searching all day. By the end of the day she had finished packing but still had no success in finding the missing and precious ring. She was distraught. We finally left for the airport for our trip and she still had not recovered her ring.
Her worries about ever finding the ring deepened. We talked about it in the car and again on the plane. She decided to seek real help; she decided to pray about it. The entire day she had looked but had never made it a serious matter of prayer. She was so busy and so involved that she didn’t stop and earnestly seek the Lord’s help.
As she sat on the plane, she turned to the Lord regarding her concerns about her missing ring. After a frantic day, now she calmly and earnestly asked Heavenly Father to help her find the ring. As she prayed, into her mind came the thought of our three-year-old son Tanner. She had watched him earlier that day picking up a myriad of things off counters and tables. She then had the distinct thought to look in his pocket. He was in the seat next to her on the airplane. She reached over and reached into his little pocket and found her precious ring. After an entire day of searching without the Lord’s help and no results, the ring was found at 8:00 pm in less than five
minutes with the Lord’s help. The promises of prayers of faith are miraculous.
