Recently a friend and employee with our company was reading one of the Greater Views Series books. She is not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. She came to me with a powerful question. How do I repent? Her question was an inspired one. I told her I couldn’t answer it when she asked me because it was such a powerful question that required more time and a longer answer.

A few days later we were able to sit down and review the plan of salvation and answer her question more thoroughly in more detail. Her question was a question of nourishment. Her desires were pure and powerful. During our discussion, she asked me a second question, “What can I do to feel closer to God?” Her second question, like the first, was saturated in righteous desires and a real desire to nourish her faith. I am grateful for the elect who desire to know God and who are willing to nourish those desires.
